时光飞逝，2008年5月初的面试似乎就发生在昨天，可一转眼已经到了8月底，李晨的学术英语教学工作已经正式开始了。李晨将尽可能以连载博文的形式把教学中的一些思考记录下来，将最真实的英国大学语言课程呈现给大家。

岗位说明： TEMPORARY EAP (STUDY SKILLS) TUTORS, SUMMER 2008 [August 26th - September 26th 2008]

JOB DESCRIPTION

Tutors will work under the direction of the Course Director and the Course Co-ordinators. Their duties will be as follows:

1. To teach up to 20 hours per week. The actual number of hours will be decided by the course director and course co-ordinators and may vary from weekto week.

2. To be available between 9.00 am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday. Classes will normally be between 9.30am and 1.00pm on Monday to Friday,and between 2.00pm and 4.30pm on Tuesdays,W ednesdays and Thursdays.

3. To evaluate written assignments and provide students with detailed written feedback in tutorials.

4. To complete all lesson report and student report forms whenever necessary and contribute all lesson notes and materials to the course file.

5. To attend meetings related to the course. These meetings will take place outside class times.

6. To invigilate testing sessions and correct student test papers.

7. To be available from 9.30am to 5.00pm during the week set aside for orientation and preparation of the course.
