李晨硕士论文被评为优等 Dissertation Awarded Distinction

伦敦时间2008年9月18日下午，李晨接到查看硕士论文成绩的通知。到系里拿到成绩单后，看到成绩被第一阅卷人 Professor Martin Bygate 和 第二阅卷人 Professor Francis Katamba 评定为70%，属于优等，即 Distinction 范畴。这也标志着李晨在英国的硕士课程画上了一个圆满的句号。

附: 英国大学成绩标准
70+ distinction;
60-69 good pass;
50-59 pass;
40-49 fail and resubmit assignment;
marks below 40 fail and either resubmit or present new assignment, at the
discretion of the Examination Board.

    what are the marks in UK?
    in AU:
    50% and above Pass
    65% and above Credit
    75% and above Distinction
    85% and above High Distinction

    I thought there should be the same education system in UK and AU? but it seems quite different?

    Qiu, yes, I will be back to Beijing next month and start teaching again.

    Margret, here’s a list of marking criteria for your refence:

    70+ distinction;
    60-69 good pass;
    50-59 pass;
    40-49 fail and resubmit assignment;
    marks below 40 fail and either resubmit or present new assignment, at the
