如果你问作家和出版社最痛恨什么，那大概就是盗版书了。盗版书不仅损害作者和出版社的利益，而且书里频频出现的各种错误也让读者叫苦不迭。

报道中说，湖南省查处了一个印制盗版书的团伙，没收了价值两千零三十万元的盗版书。
这里的“pirated books”指的就是盗版书。“Pirate”比较常见的是作名词，当“海盗”讲，在用作动词时有“盗印；窃用”的意思。它与名词连用，指盗版的某物，如，pirated videos（盗版录像）、pirated computer games（盗版电脑游戏）等。

I think pirate things are created many harmful factors to human beings and also disturbed the normal market. We should do our best to prohibit it. But first of all, we have to recognize what is “pirate commodity”,right?
